Money that moves instantly and costs nothing to send.
RaiblocksOne is a fork of Nano. No fees, no mining, no waiting — transactions settle in seconds, and the energy cost of sending one is a rounding error next to a proof-of-work chain.
The network got a serious tune-up
Two long-standing problems were tracked down and fixed. Both are written up in full, including what is still broken.
Nodes can sync again
XRO's chain was built with proof-of-work below what Nano's thresholds expect —
68% of blocks fell under epoch_1. Any node re-fetching history
rejected them outright. That is why new nodes could never bootstrap, and why a
long-running node drifted 32,741 blocks behind. Fixed, built from source, and
published with a checksummed ledger snapshot.
RaiOne‑Vault, rebuilt
The wallet had been running a build from June 2024. Deep links were broken that whole time — opening a page directly, or just hitting refresh anywhere inside the wallet, returned a 404. That is fixed. Your seed, your addresses and your funds are untouched.
Open the walletHow it works
The same architecture as Nano: a block lattice instead of one shared chain, and voting instead of mining.
No fees, no waiting
Every account has its own chain, so senders are not competing for space in a shared block. Confirmation takes seconds rather than minutes, and costs nothing either way.
Open representative voting
You delegate your balance's voting weight to any representative you like, and change it whenever you want. Once representatives holding more than 67% of online weight agree, a transaction is cemented and irreversible.
Nothing to mine
No mining rewards means no arms race for hardware, and no pools consolidating the network. Running a node is cheap enough that participating is not a business decision.
Supply and distribution
XRO was distributed by taking a snapshot of the Nano ledger on 24 May 2023. Every Nano account holding or owed more than one Nano received the same amount in XRO. Exchange accounts and the Nano burn account were excluded.
- Total created
- 340,282,366.9XRO, fixed — (2128 − 1) / 1030
- Distributed at snapshot
- 87,918,160.34XRO to Nano holders
- Reserved for rewards
- 252,364,206.58XRO over 30 years
- Maximum daily payout
- 23,046.95XRO to principal representatives
Why rewards exist at all
Nano's development fund is nearly spent, and there are no new Nano to distribute. XRO keeps the fair distribution but reserves the remainder as a daily reward to principal representatives — anyone holding at least 0.1% of online voting weight. Since you choose your representative freely, you can back the ones building things you actually want. More in the FAQ.
